A short documentary following a local shop that specializes in working on Porsche 944s

Lighting Plans
The goal for these interviews was to highlight Daniel Davis and Zach Brewer within their work environment. Additionally, we wanted to have clear separation between the subject and the background along with a rythm of light that should create spots of interest throughout the space while not distracting the audience.
Lights were kept on rolling stands that allowed for easy movement through the space and focused on assisting the shapes present in the workshop.
The Process
The crew and gear package for this project was fairly small, which isn’t out of the ordinary for a documentary. Everybody on set is focused on capturing the truth of a moment speeding by.
This means that plans must be thorough while maintaining room for adaptability from the beginning.
